You could make an argument for Kamara or Barkley, like Fournette injuries have impacted their performances. The rest are no where close to Fournette in either accomplishments or potential.

LMAO holy shite. You're saying that about a list that included Le'veon Bell?

the records clearly place Fournette in the top eight

He doesn't even average 4 ypc for his entire career. You can blame the jags offense all you want, but the fact is that TJ Yeldon is a journeyman backup. He was more efficient than Fournette both seasons that they played together in jacksonville. If there was such a talent disparity then you would expect that to either be the other way around or for their numbers to be similar.

Every back collecting a paycheck has 4 YPC potential. Saying guys like Aaron Jones and Josh Jacobs don't just makes you look like a massive homer

Bell was the best back in the league for several seasons and will be a Hall of Famer, but he is on the down swing of his career and Fournette is a better back at this time. So yes, he does have more accomplishments but not as much potential.

I am not a homer and could care less he was an LSU player. I want the best player for the Saints and if Jacobs was that guy I would want him over Fournette even though I despise Alabama. I rooted like hell for Ingram. All of these guys are really good players I just think Fournette brings a more complete package to the role of complementing Kamara and would be very effective with the Saints.
