You mock, but you offer no rebuttal. Gilead is in fact losing the patent on their HIV drug. Now Fauci is pushing remedisvir. Coincidence???

Gilead is a huge company, remedisvir probably won't move the needle on their books. However they see the optics, thus that is why they are giving away so much.

No, not a coincidence actually. This may surprise you, but lots of pharma companies lose their patent protection on lots of their drugs. It happens all the time, which is why they have a pipeline of other products in development.

For coronavirus, many companies and many compounds were being evaluated...you're hearing the most about the Gilead one because it's shown the most promise. It's not a hard concept to grasp, you just don't like the facts for some reason.

Gilead also has 24 marketed products, not one
