I think you can get a good idea what is actually good for ending this ordeal and what isnt, just by examining the media. Generally, the praise things like the testing you are talking about, which dont really do anything to end the hysteria, and then downplay things like antibody testing, and promising treatments which would speed the end of the lockdown.
