You can’t keep it out of nursing homes & once it’s there it’s going to spread
In a perfect world there would be procedures in place to stop it but that’s not Louisiana

Because there are asymptomatic carriers you really can't stop it unless you test your entire nursing home and their staff and keep everyone quarantined. Even then, one bonehead can ruin it for an entire nursing home

I just checked in with our admin -- the few who were negative are now showing signs and I didn't ask but assume that they will be reswabbed. I'll be surprised if we don't end up with nearly 100% infection rate of residents.

That said, some who seemed to be the most compromised are still with us. I'm ready to see my people again.
