My cell data reception is almost non existent, not that I need it because I never leave the house. But In the past week Cox has started getting slower and cutting out a few times a day for 30 second windows. Anyone else having issues?

I can't explain it, but ours goes out when it rains. (cell, not satellite)

I know they were metering some connections when this first went down. Cox also had some servers have issues initially when the lockdown began.

My parents were having internet issues, so i went over to try and fix them. I do the normal IT guy stuff and check the level 3 network issues of the OSI model. Still nothing for wifi. Then I check the IP address and see that i have a pretty high address on the main PC attached to the router. a high ip address is judged by the lower the first number is, or it's initial routing channel. this one was a 11. when normal subnetting would have it with a 192.168.

Since they guarantee internet and not wireless internet, they gave my parent's pc an internal address while they were performing maintenance.

So if your having issues, then they might be having some larger server issues on the back end. We're basically putting the internet on a massive stress test daily during the times.

And the service providers haven't performed the due diligence they should because the networks have never had this many connections at once.

For some reason my AT&T home internet goes out twice a day. Once in the morning, once at night.

do they use different servers for home service as opposed to offices? because everyone is logged on to the internet in the office. if it is different servers that makes sense though.
