It’s like buying a lottery ticket based on the length and amount of the contract. You spend a dollar or two on a lottery ticket and you possibly win millions. If you don’t match any numbers, it’s no big deal bc it didn’t cost much. With Winston, you sign the league leader in yards and TDs and overlook the other stats bc it’s one year and not much money. If he learns from Drew and coach and Drew retires, you have a good QB moving forward or you give the job to Hill and now you have a good trade piece and it didn’t cost you much of anything. I think it was a great pick up.

You just compared signing Winston to the biggest scam on the planet, and meant it as a compliment.
