It wasn't, but I just read the reviews on that one and it looks like it blows a cap all the time, too.

I know there are millions of satisfied soundbar owners out there, and I was too for a while, but I now believe that it's just an inherently bad design. There is too much crammed into too small a space, and too much is sacrificed as far as proper electronics design (cooling, mostly) and sound engineering (physics is undefeated, size and shape matter), just to achieve the aesthetic. And that sucks because for some situations it's the best choice as far as space utilization.

It just feels like the whole budget audio market is a minefield. And at this point I would expect someone to say "no shite".
