ok then 90% because it is either democrat governors or democrat mayors in red states

Okay, let's go by each state's credit rating, which is a pretty good indicator of whether or not they're in risk of bankruptcy. Illinois is the only state rated below A- (it's rated BBB- which is awful), but Illinois is a corrupt dumpster fire, so what's new?

Let's look at the other poor-scoring states, from worst to not as bad. These are all the states scoring below AA, which is both the average and most common score (top score is AAA; just look at the link above)

WORST
BBB-: Illinois (D state, D gov)
A-: New Jersey (D state, D gov)
A: Connecticut (D state, D gov); Kentucky (R state; D gov)
A+: Pennsylvania (D state, D gov)
AA-: Alaska (R state, R gov); California (D state, D gov); Kansas (R state, D gov); Louisiana (R state, D gov); West Virginia (R state, R gov)
NOT AS BAD

Before you even talk about Kentucky's, Kansas', and Louisiana's D governors, you know damn well those states have been a mess since before they were elected. Look at the credit history graphs going back years.

Also, consider the https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2017/12/07/best-and-worst-run-states-america-which-one-top-rated/926586001/ which incorporates credit scores heavily into consideration.

Do you want to give any metric or data or ranking at all to support Trump's nonsense?
