Well he has nothing to regret because he did nothing.
The NFL made the rule.
This is a capitalist society where businesses can determine their own hiring practices.
For every Stingley there are 100s of other freshmen who are going to try and go pro and faiL and they would be done.
The NFL would rather have a free minor league
