I work with a guy who homeschools his kids. He and his wife both work full time. He has 4 preteen and teenagers that sit at home all day and play video games. Kid you not. All because they don’t want the government indoctrinating their kids. Blows my mind.
Of course my sister homeschools her kids and they are definitely smarter for it.

I know people who co-oped their home schooling and hired private teachers. We chose to spend our money on parochial education. To each his own. There has to be an alternative to public education, and the influence of leftist teachers unions and nattering naysayers in government and academia.
