Because people get jealous of folks. I have a lot of friends in oil, all good guys and hard working. Not my kind of work or life style, but they do it well. Times are tough and I feel for them. Never felt jealous of them in good or bad times.

I am a teacher. Never understood the disdain of us. Some are bad, like any occupation, but that is what it is. Some perks are great some are not. I think there is balance in the life and that many folks dont understand the negatives and just constantly focus on Summers off and other aspects.

Because teachers act like they're all underpaid martyrs when in reality they're on the same curve as cops. 10% great, 10% good, 50% ok, 30% bad.
