I-10 at Texas state line

I need to get over from Houston to my camp outside of LC this weekend to do some work. How’s the blockade at the state line, troopers still stopping people?

N big deal getting back in. Just fill out paperwork or put hard hat on front seat and tell them your returning from work. I have 25 or so guys doing it everyday.

Can we just sticky one I-10 Tx/La border thread and update the OP every couple hours. We have to have over a dozen threads about this over the last week.

Any updates on this? Still going I'm assuming. I didn't see anything stickied, and this is the latest one I could find.

Not I-10 at Texas line but I came in from Monroe via 79 going home to H-town and 2 DPS guys were at the state line in Bethany. I still have my Louisiana tags even though I now own a home in TX. I stopped prepared to show my essential employee letter and they just asked me where I was going and I told them and they said be careful and let me on without me doing anything else.
I hear that Abbott is about to let the state open back up because these 2 guys gave zero fricks about me going through or maybe they give zero fricks about Houston.

I crossed the border coming from Louisiana at about 8PM Saturday. The checkpoint was setup at the rest stop with cones and two trooper cars but they were not making anyone pull into the rest stop. I've known of two people that crossed the state line about a week ago and they received visits at their apartments a few days after.
