Not bad advice, I don't think best advice but everybody is entitled to opinions obviously. The weather is still very unpredictable in April and most things don't open until second half of May. Yea, he could drive further and probably get in the park, but that's it. If that's all OP wants, then have at it. Want to have a beer around the iconic fireplace at old faithful, can't do it. Want to stay in the park, can't do it. Just trying to lay out the facts for expectations.

False. Mammoth Inn and Ole Faithful Inn are both open year round.

Also false. Ole faithful inn is open during the winter, and accessible by track bus or snowmobile. Yellowstone in the winter is dope, but again, it's not open right now due to COVID so this debate is pointless.

Man, you must know more than Yellowstone itself. Can’t believe they would lie about their opening and closing dates. All the times I’ve been there in the winter have been a shame.

Dude, look it up. Both were slated to open May 22nd this year. They literally have a page with opening and closing dates you should look at...

You quite obviously have never been, because everything you've said has been 100% verifiably false.

I see nothing in what you posted saying the inn is open. I know about the snow lodge but even that closes down before April.

You know about the snow lodge, yet "there is nowhere to stay in the park?" I'm done with you.

For the OP

Those dates are due to COVID genius.

In April the snow lodge isn’t open. You truly are an idiot. You literally posted data going against your claim.

I’d pick another park.
