Is Cortana Mall still standing? I guess that qualifies. I’d love to go into an abandoned mall.

Why not go further down the rabbit hole and visit Bon Marche (I have no idea what it is now).

It was still open until about 6-8 months ago. Someone has been buying all of the properties so they finally closed it. Supposedly it's going to be torn down for an Amazon distribution center.

An abandoned mall will definitely give you that eerie feeling. I walked around the Belle Promenade mall shortly before it closed down, sometime on the late 90s I guess. It was a bustling mall in the 80s. When I walked through there, there was just a couple stores clinging to life. Except for the workers, I don’t recall seeing anyone else. Just a huge empty mall, with mall music playing and everything except people.

The site must be shuttered since my link just redirects to a Facebook page but a Blues Brothers fan site had a tour of the mall in the 00s. The mall closed, was then decorated for the scene, and then destroyed, leaving it to fall apart in the decades that followed. Here's a good story with pictures of what it looked like before it was finally taken down.
