It’s interesting that the anti-hydroxychloroquine all want to cry “small sample size!!!! Whah whah waaahhh!!!”
Yet, when using calculating the mortality rate, they are perfectly okay with calculating with incomplete numbers. We have no idea how many people have been infected, therefore we have no way of calculating the mortality rate.
Additionally, this virus obviously affects people differently depending on pre-existing respiratory conditions. So when describing the impact of the virus on our society, it is woefully misleading to calculate a single mortality rate. The reason for this is because the biased data being used.
Biased data calculations caused biased information generated from that biased calculation.
Yes, 2+3=5. So, in that aspect, the math is syntactically correct.
However, when you take data and then use it as a source of information, your calculations are now incorrect because of the biased nature.
