Since when is this the question? Quit falsely equating businesses owned by the Chinese Communist Party with the general public. Our system, like any other, can be and is manipulated by bad actors. Sticking to black and white does not work when the object of the policy is a foreign state with zero incentives to lawfully abide by US law.

What does that even mean? Every determination that has ever been made regarding anything of substance in the entire modern history of the world has been made by politicians.
