LINK

I've been critical of this model from the start but I do applaud them for the constant updates and they have addressed a number of the concerns that were pointed out.

Let's hope it is right and we continue to see positive trends into next week

Quarantining is working. I am guessing we have about another month to go before we start seeing things getting back on track. At least in Louisiana. Not sure about the rest of the country

We're going to be open for business (sans large gatherings) May 1

Not if you watched the Trump press conference today. The infectious disease experts made it sound like it would not happen May 1st.

They'll probably try to give us a week of lead time to get ready to go back. May 1 is 3 weeks away. We'll have another 2 weeks of data, treatment oiptions, PPE and resources will be in much better shape etc.

I also think it's smarter to say nothing/say it's going to be late, and then open us back up earlier. If the gov tells us today that we need to keep up the good work and we'll be open May 1, most of the idiots in this country will take that as we are out of the woods and it's time to party.

You changed this to deaths per day so I look stupid, but the "peak" most everyone means is the peak impact on the healthcare system, which is projected for tomorrow.
