I still can't believe that Bill Barr, the Attorney General of the United States, proved that he is just Trump's lackey by visiting Rupert Murdoch, at Murdoch's home, while impeachment was heating up.

Hadn't Murdoch's son been in charge at FNC for several months prior to the referenced visit between Rupert and Barr? And although we don't know exactly what the meeting was about, wouldn't plain common sense dictate that Barr simply would not be a logical choice for any sort of untoward or inappropriate communication between the President and Rupert Murdoch?

Seems to me that a nefarious communique would be passed along by someone with much more discreet profile. I accept that it's fair game to speculate however one pleases in terms of this matter, but for me it takes a tin foil hat effort to convince oneself that there was any corrupt efforts involved there. Barr very easily does not strike me as someone who would participate in such activity....and especially in light of the fact that it would have been easily presumed that the meeting would become publicly known?? No way. But that's me.

What on earth would make you think that?

What possible reason could Barr have for going to Murdock's house, at night, other than a corrupt effort? Just one.

"Me"....does not strike "me". I acknowledged in my post that it's fair for others to find differently.

Barr's the head of DOJ. I choose to believe that it was DOJ-centered business. Obviously it's not commonplace for a that sort of business to be made public. It could be any one of very many things. Rupert Murdoch is a very well known person and has an innumerable number of contacts. Could range anywhere from something that needed to be explored as far as some allegation against him or his business(es)....to inquiry as to someone or something upon which he has knowledge or light to shed. If I felt like it I could probably give a couple pages of more specific reasonable possibilities. But what I said above will have to do.

Even if you think Trump's tan is real, his hair is real, or his business fortunes are real ....there's something very strange about his teeth. He either wears large porcelain veneers and/or dentures. His teeth are much larger now than they were in his 30s/40s.

Not a single thing you listed would justify an after hours visit to Murdock's personal residence. If it had to do with DOJ business, it would have been conducted at Barr's office.

Since it wasn't, it's reasonable to assume that the a desirable feature of meeting at Murdock's house was that it would be a private meeting.

Who says DOJ business must be conducted between 9 and 5, and only at DOJ headquarters? There's no law or rule that requires any such thing.

And you insist on a random example of legitimate business that could involve DOJ in that situation......let's see, completely random off the top of my head, how about a conversation regarding the possible publication of potentially classified information that FNC came across. Perhaps Murdoch had questions or concerns of legality, given potential connection with ongoing DOJ investigations, or even national security concerns. Who better to address such concerns than the country's top law enforcement official. There ya go....one of many possibilities.

And no, it wouldn't be surprising or questionable at all TO ME that someone of the status and stature of R. Murdoch would rate a visit at his convenience, especially in regards to a significant issue as described above.

So you asked and I answered. Now I ask you two questions: what's a guess or example of your own that would tend toward nefarious, inappropriate or corrupt activity?

And secondly, in the current political environment, why hasn't a full-fledged Congressional inquiry into the matter been instituted if it seems so obvious that corrupt activity likely occurred??
