Where? Because if you are going to call Kentucky a northern state then you are incorrect as well. Delaware and Maryland never seceded but tried to be neutral because they knew they would get destroyed if they picked a side. Maryland pretty much was taken over by the federal government and officially abolished slavery during the war.
