Still 3 feet.

You can put just about anything you want in a shed / detached garage / pool cabana building EXCEPT for built-in kitchen cooking equipment or hook-ups, which magically changes it to a separate living unit-- that messes with zoning regs.

In my years on the Old Metairie committee, I saw detached building plans with sinks, wet bars, refrigerators, toilets, bathrooms, washers, dryers, separate A/C systems, all of that stuff.

Just don't put in (or show) a range, oven or built-in microwave.
