I've been out once in 8 days to go to grocery.

Now that I work from home, I go out at least once a day. I'm not around a lot of people; I am being considerate, but I am going to continue to live life. I'm not a scared or obsequious sheep, though. I went on a 400 mile drive on Saturday, but I stayed in my car except to stop once for gas and I remained in state.

That said, I am actually at risk because I lost my spleen when I was seven in a car wreck. I'm not worried about me, but I do not want to be the one responsible for passing it to someone else. However, I have to find that balance. I will either walk around the block, or I will go get take-out/drive-thru. Be considerate, use your brain, and things should be OK.

I do think that Americans will eventually say "screw it"; I have a hard time believing that people will do this until August (new stats predict 82K "deaths" due to COVID-19 by August if we continue to social distance). If this will be an ongoing issue, then what's the point?

Most of us won't have jobs by June if this is still going on.

AUGUST?!

If you keep this situation going for that long, the unemployment will be fricking insane, like over 30% insane.

Hospitals won’t survive that long without performing elective surgeries.

Geez.
