Nah man, its not about me at all.
I don't think like you, and I'm fine with that.

You literally wanted me to know that your daughter doesn’t complain about not seeing her friends because you made the false assumption that my son was complaining.

And then you try to brag about your small business and paying your employees (which everyone can do now anyway thanks to the loan forgiveness rules).

But no... not about you.

I check Fox News. Then WWL & WDSU. Then check Tigerdroppings for the truth.

you took that comment about my kid completely wrong and I have explained that to you already, but I'll do it again.
I was comparing my 6 year old not complaining to YOU, as an adult, complaining.

BTW, I haven't had this magic loan forgiveness for the last month.

What are the differences between us and Sweden?

They are many. Maybe start another thread if you think knowing them would be useful.

I’m curious what differences would make us incapable of taking their approach.

No one said incapable. Unwilling is probably more accurate.

You think you know better than anyone else how this should be handled, so you're going to ignore advice and do what you want.

There are threads here of people bragging about being morons.

But JBE and SWB said this isn't so.

Real Governors with leadership qualities ALWAYS plan for the worst case scenario, and hope for the best possible outcomes. JBE may have faults but his response to COVID-19 IS NOT one of them.

Now a Gov Rispone, in his press conferences, would have repeated everything the President has stated in his. Plus adding I Stand with Trump.

Shawn, same here re: planning for a tough situation.

Fortunate that we aren't in tourism/entertainment where revenue went to $0.

That said, a lot of small businesses that don't report cash revenue and underpay taxes and are now trying to justify CARES Act money are having a difficult time.

And yet they have 62% more deaths per capita. How/why?

Because they did not do as much social distancing they have a steeper curve.

You realize that TD also said 5 weeks ago that this was "muh flu"

The most extreme opinion on here was Geauxtigerssomethingor another. He was saying it's the flu plus. I don't remember anyone saying it was no worse than the flu. You can surely find quotes taken out of context, but when you read several posts of any poster you might not find even one who thought this was like ordinary flu. And certainly not TD as a whole.

You're partially correct. Many posters said the common flu is worse.
