Those specs sound suspect to me. I'm not aware of the game you are playing, but really unless it's old you would benefit from a higher processor like a amd r7 3 series or even r5 3 series. 1660 would be minimum gpu I would even entertain with more value coming from a 2060 or 2070 especially running dual/triple monitors. Whatever you do, make sure it has a m.2 ssd for the operating system and a good large regular HDD.

Your frame rates will be nice and smooth using a 2060 or 2070 with the 2070 you could go on up to 4k if you have a monitor system to support it. I wouldn't buy an Intel system anymore unless it's drastically cheaper than the amd ryzen 2 or 3k series processors. But it all depends.... do you want the cheapest you can run your program on or what you would enjoy the most? They're two completely different systems.

In a perfect world, I would spend around $500 and have what I need. The requirements are relatively low as far as computer specs go. This computer will be just for the sim and internet browsing. These are the requirements to run the sim

Windows 8.1 64-Bit, Windows 10 64-Bit
64-bit Windows
4 core CPU or better – Some examples (but not limited to): AMD FX-6300, Intel Core i5-4430, Intel Core i5-2320, AMD Ryzen 3 1200
8 GB of RAM
A gaming graphics card with at least 2GB of DEDICATED memory – Some examples (but not limited to): Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 @ 2 GB / GTX 1050 or ATI Radeon HD 7850 @ 2GB / AMD RX 550 or better
10 GB of free disk space (40 GB for all cars and tracks)
Microphone optional, required for voice chat

ETA: I'm not really looking to spend a fortune on a computer that I don't really need. Some of the systems I've seen are really nice and would outperform my expectations by a mile, but I don't think I could pull the trigger on something like that
