Not only that but he makes ridiculous leaps or changes the subject entirely when someone is proving him wrong. That's the kind of thing that annoys the screaming shite out of me.

If your points on a subject are proven wrong and/or indefensible then you need to rethink your stance (whether that means changing your stance, finding better points, both or something else).
