Got a question. Boiling a sack of crawfish today and also some shrimp. When do I put the shrimp in the boil and for how long to soak? I’ll have the shrimp in a boiling bag.

Put them it with the ice, if you ice. If not about 5 minutes into the soak, assuming you’re soaking around 20 minutes. Do not boil

whenever you're about to turn your fire low/off for the batch of crawfish, throw the shrimp in.

Thanks. I usually soak with no ice...for about 30 minutes for crawfish...so, I guess put it in after I turn the heat off? And just soak in there for 15-20 min?

Yup. I put a couple pounds in after I have been soaking for 5 minutes and I don’t use ice.
