I've heard the bs stories about medicinal value. It's all just an excuse so than normal Chinese people don't feel bad about eating nasty shite.

Yeah, frick Obama, probably the worst President we ever had, but the move overseas was already done pretty much, so more blame on Clinton here. Lots of factors, but making cheaper widgets with a disposable workforce with no insurance or retirement, as well as work comp and all the hastles of safe work environments; it just added up....too many benefits to move everything over there

The device tax is a sales tax, why on earth would influence where goods are manufactured? Made here, made there, the tax was all the same if it was sold in the US. That, of course, leaves aside the fact that the manufacturers passed the cost onto hospitals anyway

The real answer to this question is that labor is cheaper in China.
