You know this how? Our deaths don't show this along with the Kinsa tracking data
Albany looks to be hit hardest and those were linked to church gatherings
I explained my reasoning elsewhere. The short of it is
1. ATL is out of ICU beds
2. Albany is mortality capital of the world
3. GA mortality to confirmed testing rate is super high
4. GA has tested half as many people as Louisiana
5. A good chunk of the leadership team at WellStar is taking (virtual) meetings all over NYC to understand how to beef up capacity and they seem pretty nervous.
I'll keep an eye on the Kinsa tracking data though, that looks neat.Thanks.

You do know part of the problem is that Grady still hasn't replaced units due to water damage LINK,correct?

The mayor says part of the problem is that the city is already down beds at Grady Hospital because of water damage.
And don't be freaking dishonest.Metro Atlanta isn't remotely close to full capacity.
Do you not realize the city of Atlanta represents 1/10 of the metro population? Stop with your cherry picking data.BTW,what's the normal ICU capacity rate for Grady? How bout during flu season?I'm assuming it's at least 50% or more because it's a level one trauma ctr.

There was a cluster breakout in Albany and you know exactly how that skews the number. The EXACT thing happened in Washington and their numbers are WAY down now

Why wouldn't they? I'd be doing the exact same thing. Its call preparedness for a reason

Well,if this isn't scientific data I don't know what is.

I believe it's some of the best real time data we can get.Granted,I believe it's only 180,000 across the country but it's been scary accurate with the flu.
It's the closest we can get without testing.
The guy who founded this company will be a very, very wealthy man before this is over.

Its no surprise that SELA, SW GA, and Atlanta have it bad.
The media won't report this but according people working in hospitals black males are the most affected demographic
The 3 places listed up above have some of highest African American pop in the country.
