N-95 needs to be fitted. They have not determined if this is an aerosolized (airborne) pathogen.
At UW in Seattle they are wearing normal surgical masks unless they are in treatment rooms using nebulizers on positive patients.
ETA: to be clear N-95 are only required for airborne pathogens. In hospital all other pathogens (droplet) use of surgical mask is appropriate for Infection Prevention.
