I’m working from home so I don’t know the specifics but this is what I was told regarding our facility —
We have a wing of 23 private skilled beds basically it’s a short term rehab wing. One side of this 23 bed unit has gone to double rooms with rehab patients and the other has gone to double rooms with our long term ppl from the 400 hall so that the 400 hall can be for isolation only.
In the isolation only wing we have two residents that were tested and so far one result came back neg and waiting on the other. Not sure if they’ll move them when their fever is gone or the one with neg covid no longer has pneumonia.
I know they’re admitting NO one long term or to the rehab unit .. unless they decide that they can handle infectious residents maybe? I wasn’t exactly clear on their plan for that .. Not sure they have the staff for that regardless.
