Chi-na has finally been exposed for being the threat to the world. They lied and continue to lie about the virus and due to them being producers of the world goods have shown them to be unreliable and untrustworthy.

The EU is falling apart and is seen as useless. It looks like France, Italy, and Spain will soon be out. They've been totally abandoned by the EU and are realizing there's no point of still being in it.

America is finally seeing the backlash of selling out our nation to China. We can't produce any products to help with a global Crisis because companies have sold out the nation for profits. We can't get the medicines we need, mask, and medical equipment because they are all made in Chi-na.

Unfortunately for the latter I think companies will continue in America to do business in China as long as profits are good. The US will need to pass a bill to force essential equipment to be produced nationally.

We're going to realize how this whole reaction was dumb and next time the virus will actually be deadly and millions of people will die.

Kinda like the boy who cried wolf.

I see international travel decrease dramatically going forward. Also, large gatherings like sports and concerts will see a drop off. Work at home will become more prevalent and will change the commercial real estate market in some areas.
I guess we will see.

Hopefully people learn a lesson and start saving for rainy days, but that may be too much to hope for.

Do you guys think globalism is officially dead? Especially since globalism is ran through Chy-na and when they fall the whole world follows. I know buisness will continue to push for it makes more profit for them but the people will want no more parts of it.

It’s the most significant global event since at least 9/11 and likely WWII. The world is going to start looking much different emerging from this.

The EU is a Franco-German project. France isn’t leaving the EU. Especially not with their immigration. Spain isn’t happy, but are routinely one of the most pro-EU countries. Very corrupt and elitist country and the EU favors those types.

Italy wants to leave, bad. The fall in tourism is going to devastate them for a decade.

Our relationship with China is definitely more openly adversarial now, which will work to split the world into its traditional East vs. West. They will become more imperialist. Thankfully, many Eastern parts of the world have adopted Western values and are more aligned with us culturally. But I see this tension dominating the next 20 years.

Our world will become more nationalistic. America and our allies will benefit from this because, quite frankly, no one can compete with us. I don’t think this will result in necessarily better quality of life because of economic and financial upheaval. It will just put emerging and secondary economies back a decade or more.

We were in the process of reinventing our economy with technology, nationalist and socialist tendencies as it was. The virus has just expedited this.

In our daily life, “social distancing” will become a phenomenon. The new collectivist rallying cry. It will effect how we enter every public place from now forward.
