I think this is sports journalists, coaches and players thinking out loud with too much time on their hands. If this thing is still bad in 90 days, sports would be the least of our worries.
I’m sure there is a certain date that the NFL and the NCAA will have that will be the cutoff date. Plenty of options left.

Less teams in playoffs
Still plenty of time to plan for every scenario. But that is asking a lot from the NCAA.
