re: On the job front - it's not just the lay offs

A virtual freeze in economic velocity has repercussions in millions of ways all throughout the country that will be almost impossible to detect until years down the line. Not surprising.

It's hokey as hell, but we need to get out in front of this and play offense. And that starts with play suffocating defense until we have a handle on the problem.
