In around 6 months, the number of people infected with Coronavirus worldwide doesn't even touch the number of dead in 2009-2010 from the Swine Flu.

Dude, the number of people infected worldwide of coronavirus will likely surpass the total number dead from the 2009-2010 swine flew within a matter of days.

ETA - It's severely likely it already has, we just haven't confirmed it through testing.

You're missing my point. There is something like 21K dead from COVID-19 globally. The death toll from the Swine Flu was almost 560K globally. Also, I saw some data from Italy the other day that stated the overwhelming majority of people who are being categorized as a COVID-19 death do not have that as the cause of death on their death certificates. I'm not sure how true that is, but i do know that Italy did say that the vast majority of COVID-19 deaths had significant medical issues prior to becoming infected.

My point is that the government didn't shut anything down and the media wasn't fanning the flames of fear. POTUS makes a valid point...

Everyone is terrified and they don't even know why, except for the fact that they have been instructed to be scared. When dealing with this stuff, it's important to analyze the data.

Folks who use potential worst case scenario speculation are as bad as the media.
