You are a dumb arse. The reason they talk about "winning the millennial vote" has to do with the fact that they are the youngest voting base and younger people don't vote as much as older people (or should I say the older you get the more likely you are to vote).

Since candidates already have their base (which is pretty much split 50/50), they have to look for the x factor to get them over the hump.. In this case it is the young voters. It has nothing to do with "free-thinking".

Most people, no matter what generation they come from are not "free thinkers" (especially when it comes to politics).. But people do change as they get older.. They become more wise.. So yeah.. You are an idiot.
