This is from one of the articles Ive seen on it
Under the plan as it was being negotiated, individuals who earn $75,000 in adjusted gross income or less would get direct payments of $1,200 each, with married couples earning up to $150,000 receiving $2,400 -- and an additional $500 per each child. The payment would scale down by income, phasing out entirely at $99,000 for singles and $198,000 for couples without children.

75k for full 1200.
over 75k. subtract $5 from 1200 for every 100 income over 75k.
the 500 per kid has a much higher ceiling. more than 250k in drafts floated. it could much more.

i bet 3 weeks tops.
irs produces the list in a format and media that treasury mnuchin specifies.
treasury poops out checks sorted by zip9 for days and days.
each day:
tons of checks into tons of envelops.
tractor trailers over to yon main postal building.
sorted already by zip9
into trucks. some go right to maryland and virginia and dc.
most go into airplanes.
into trucks.
into post offices.
into little square trucks
some of that.
