The coaches salaries are NOT affected by the cap...that's what I'm saying.
As for players, the current contracts are not affected either.

So the owners are fricked with no revenue....hell, does the TV money still come in?

We know that the number of playoff games impacts the salary cap and in years with lots of sweeps the cap went down from projections. So I would guess that the TV money is at the very least greatly reduced if they aren't giving them playoff games to broadcast.

The local TV money might be different though. I think part of why the Pels have really pushed the rewatches of games on FSNO so hard with an upper management dog and pony show is because FSNO has to pay out anyway.
