my wife is a pharmacist, she had two doctors call in the last two days trying to write Chloroquine as a prophylactic for themselves and family members...

my wife said "not happening"

I asked her, do you have the authority to tell a doctor no? She said the word is out already, "do no dispense unless it's for treatment"

I asked her what if he needs it stay healthy so he can help sick people? we need the front line healthy

We were given the same information Friday. My wife is also a pharmacist and shut down 2 call ins by docs trying to prescribe it to family members. She said no, they were cool about it, but you can call 50 more places and probably get some tool that fills it.
