resipirator
I bought one of these yesterday at the home-depot p95 just as good as n-95 just also takes out paint fumes. They also make a n100 varient. You can wear these things for a prolonged period of time and can re-use indefinitely since they shouldn't get clogged up with just viruses. They also fit better, and are more comfortable.

I think the danger of cross contamination between patients is more than just viruses

In the short term if you only use a few a week or so but if you are constantly changing out masks it adds up. It is much cheaper long term and you would need just one per worker. Also we are out of the disposable kind around the world fyi.

Im talking about doctors and first responder types that are running out of disposable masks.

Nurses and doctors change their masks, gloves and gowns every time they go into a patients room even if only for a brief time. In one 12 hr shift they can go through a hell of a lot of PPE.

Seems to me that the old washable surgical cloth masks that tie behind the head would be enough to stop this virus.
Why disposable N95s?
Why disposable N95s?
