Vinny is correct, business interruption policies only kick in when there is property damage. there is no policy for pandemics. which really sucks for small businesses.
I’m not sure specifically about whether a pandemic is covered but the following scenario would be covered by the Saints’ Business Interruption policy-
One Game Day morning, the Superdome is for some reason unable to host the crowds and game. An issue with the Electrical, Water, Sewer, whatever systems.
Or that the civil authorities deem that legally they cannot allow a game to be held at the venue.
It could be due to the threat of civil unrest, weather, etc.
