Has anyone achieved HHA gold? I can’t get past bronze so I just did a massive overhaul of my house and hope it works out. Highest I have gotten so far is 80,000

I sit at around 177k right now. The trick is to fully upgrade the house (every room is judged so you need all the rooms to get the max benefit). You need to try to have matching furniture sets. You want to try to coordinate color schemes. You want some higher end items on display. You want to have items on your walls. You want the floors and walls to match and either be part of the matching furniture set or be a matched pair of Saharah's stuff. You want rugs on the floor. The basement counts so you want to furnish that too. Oh, and you need the four basic necessities- at least one chair, at least one table, at least one bed, and at least one dresser/wardrobe. While most stuff is judged per room (colors, furniture sets are on a room by room basis), the bed/dresser etc just has to be anywhere in the house.

You can cheat a little by stacking fish/bugs in tanks along the walls of the basement, and make some internal 'rows' 2x tall that you can walk around so none of the tanks are inaccessible. I would suggest only tanks that are 1x1 or 1x2, not the big swimming pools for sharks.

ETA: I started by having one whole room with the entire Bunny Day set that I got from the Easter event, and I realized I had all of the cute furniture set in white/pink and filled another room with that, both with matching walls/floors. Upstairs full Imperial set in red with imperial wall/floor. Main room had the full ironwood set in the same customized color. I found a bunch of pink stuff to match the Cute furniture room and shoved it in there (golf bag, fans, computer, plant). All of my plaques are hung on the walls of my study and the trophies are on top of dressers and trophy cases and tables. Nothing is set on the floor that can be set on a table. It all helps a little.

Also I have an Isabelle-announced heavy meteor shower starting in a few minutes- I'll probably only keep the game up about an hour or two but if anyone wants to come wish on stars, feel free: Dodo Code: **REDACTED**

I may be semi-afk after I get my first 20 wishes in but feel free to roam. Saharah is here somewhere (she is east beach halfway up), anything in Nooks is up for grabs if you want it, Ables is still open for a couple of hours (and I have the Labelle Caps in stock today). Some free DIYs by the airport, help yourselves. No need to bring anything with, just happy to share the stars with folks. Celeste is here in the far northeast corner up in the third tier of the gardens.
