If this exercise has done nothing else, it should really open some eyes to how POORLY data is gathered, managed, and reported. C19 has had probably the biggest spotlight possible on it for 6 months now, and the actual data collection processes and reporting are still all over the place.

And like other datasets that are used to push a control agenda (*cough* AGW *cough*), they are this way on purpose (at least to some degree), unfortunately. Makes apples-to-apples comparisons almost impossible, therefore allowing the agenda to be nudged by non-factual concerns/priorities (meaning emotional ones).

And in the absence of reliable data one's information is no more credible than the next guy's and that is THE scary part
