You want me to panic? Will panic help me survive?
I can do a lot of things, but I can't make my own medicine or medical supplies. That's just how it is.

I don't think he wants you to panic. Just, that this is a serious arse virus. No treatment....other than supportive. No vaccine. For flu...we have both. SO...the best treatment is to avoid getting it. It is currently ravaging Italy, partially b/c they didn't take it seriously. The social separation will slow and reduce transmission. Spreading things out helps us decrease the pressure on our medical system. Right now, in Italy, they are overwhelmed and are using a lottery system to determine which of the critically ill are getting vents as they are unable to ventilate all of the critically ill patients...meaning some folks who might survive...won't simply b/c their are too many people sick at the same time. They are doing this to slow the spread and limit the damage.
