Tbh I was wondering why Wang didn't exchange rooks earlier, he had the initiative and a passed B pawn that he could have pushed a bit to keep Giri's pieces occupied. But he let Giri keep it on the board, and like you said that rook caused problems for Wang once the knight got involved.

Ding vs. Caruana tomorrow is the main event especially now that Ding is still at 0 after 2 rounds. A Ding win could fuel a comeback, and a Caruana win would all but put a fork in Ding for this tournament which would be disappointing considering how hyped he was going in.

Felt like there was a chance to break open black's kingside pawns with his light squared bishop for a minute as well but that knight was a monster

Black also did a nice job of utilizing the rooks in the midgame on open files to claw his way back
