Rate this album, Texas style Southern Rock. I always thought Rusty Burns was a damn fine guitarist.

Good stuff. I believe they were associated with ZZ Top iirc. Bill Ham produced them. I own their 2nd album Second Season on vinyl.

I love some old Point Blank. They were the default opening band for tons of rock shows back in the late 70s and early 80s. Favorite songs: Penthouse Pauper, The Hard Way, Uncle Ned, Tattooed Lady.

This is how I was turned onto the band. I think maybe for REO Speedwagon. Not sure why my link starts in the middle of the damn album tho

You been mean to your queenie. You didn't show her no respect.
I guess I saw them 5 times opening for other acts back-in-the-day.

I was trying to remember where I saw them. It was the Number of the Beast tour. Thanks for dislodging that memory from this old brain of mine.

Yeah they were on the bill with April Wine in 1981. Point Blank first, Frankie and the Knockouts, then April Wine. Seems like there MIGHT have been a much smaller fourth band before Point Blank but I’m thinking not.
