The wife and I just finished E4 last night and she had a pinpoint observation: there's not a single one of the main characters who are likeable after you get to know them.

In any documentary or series there's generally one or two of the main group of characters you like, the closest we get here is feeling bad for Don's first wife and family. It's a very odd place to be when watching a documentary but it's like the ultimate in train wrecks in that you simply cannot look away. It's the Trailer Park Trash Olympics... on steriods.

By the end there are 4 of them IMO.

No legs guy, campaign manager, lost arm s/him, and long hair trainer guy with sunglasses
