What does Brooks need a year for? The kid is an athlete and he can play the LB spot at 215-220, he played rush OLB at 200. So you think he needs a year to get bigger, nah, put your best athletes and players on the field.

Yeah on 3rd down, where he would just rush the outside.
I think he will get big enough by the time the season starts but he is only 200lbs now
Cox will get weakside
My guess is Brooks will back up Cox and come in on 3rd downs
Don't think he is bug enough to play strongside

But then how do you keep Brooks off the field

I just said he MIGHT, we haven't seen him do it in the SEC yet, may need some more weight....guess maybe my posts on this subject made sense afterall

sounds like Brooks isn't thrilled about his current position. he's a player and needs to be on the field. kind of a hybrid OLB / S type.
