El Limon

We went for lunch yesterday... Only english speaking people in there

We sat down and no one came to our table for about 10 minutes. The SO and I were trying to figure out if we order at the counter. We stood out bad and then no one coming to table, we were like do we leave or not. Right when we decided to go, a guy comes and takes our order. Nice guy.

i got the pork and steak tacos. Mr taco's kicked this places arse IMO when it came to tacos.

SO got some enchilada verde dish. She said it was good and that it was some of the best chicken she had.

We get done with our meal and waiting almost 15 minutes before someone came to clean up and bring our bill.

I have never wanted to get out of a place so fast like i did yesterday. They have put way too many table in this place. It was completely filled up and trying to exit was pain in the arse especially carrying a car seat. I ended up knocking over someone's purse and it sounded like a glass broke. It was like the music on the record player stopped and everyone is looking at me. What a weird experience and service was terrible.

Y’all need to head on over to Taqueria Don Beto 2 in Gonzales. The tacos are solid but their Gorditas are insane. Get the Barbacoa with grilled onions, cheese, and cilantro.

Also their daily Caldo De Res beef soup is great.

They started off with a food truck on Airline Hwy in Prairieville which is still open. They did so well they opened a full service restaurant in Gonzales.
