No. The floors need to be fixed. Even a half assed repair would be better than buyers walking in to see scratches in the floor. Personally, my thought would be "if they didn't fix the floors, what else have they neglected?".
So, if they want to send in their guy to get that done quickly, even if it isn't better than the guy you had picked out, run with it.
The juice isn't worth the squeeze to have it done "perfectly" in the grand scheme of things.
