The future of this program under Will Wade

Is looking BRIGHT. The fact that Coach Wade has the #6 recruiting class in the nation after last year's debacle and witch hunt is outright amazing.
Stout group of freshmen and transfers that should help overcome some of our deficiencies from this year.
True point guard- Check
Legit 3-point shooting threat- Check
Depth- Check
Better defensive talent- Check

Time for Woodward to give him a big extension

If the cisse kid reclassifies could be #1 too. Anyone bitching about BDW is clueless

I dont think you see any of that until the NCAA for sure gets out of town and we dont hear back for a while

One good year does not a super coach make, nor does it merit a huge contract / extension.
Dale went to a tournament 14 years straight.
He will get it when he earns it.

Cool. Kiss him goodbye then.

Oh shut the frick up clown. Wade has had 3 great seasons in 3 years. So he's batting 1000. He got this team 8 SEC wins a season after they went 2-16 aka the worst team in program history with the fricking loser Johnny Jones. We went to the NIT and won a game as well. This team was predicted to finish last in the SEC and finished 9th.
Then in year 2 wins the god damn SEC at 16-2 over Elite 8 Kentucky, Final 4 Auburn, and Sweet 16 Tennessee. (We were 3-0 against all 3 yet get penalized by having to be in Duke and Michigan State's bracket)
In year 3 has back to back 20 win seasons and possibly a 2nd to 4th place SEC finish after losing on massive talent to the NBA, the frickboy AD and LSU President suspending him for dumbass hearsay killing a recruiting class that would have been better, a massively deficient roster with no one over 6'8, lack of depth, and Marlon Taylor and Manning basically never being healthy together to give us quality depth pretty much all season.
Back to back NCAA Tournaments for the first time in 14 fricking years. Give me a break. We have a coach here who can take us the new heights as in National Championship heights. LSU hasn't done that shite since 1935. 85 years. Go frick yourself. It would be the dumbass section of our "fan" base that would want to run a massive coaching talent out of town.

I notice you didn’t mention a player over 6’9? Please tell me we have one next year

I had to upvote just for your well organized argument.
Also I love WW. Give him whatever he wants.

And not much to show for it. Dale Brown is not the standard

I think Wade will take Woody keeping the promises that were made to him when he was hired. Wade has routinely mentioned that we are way behind the average when it comes to facilities and resources at LSU. These are things that were promised to Wade and the new AD needs to make good on those promises.

Nobody is coming after him right now knowing the NCAA is dishing out NOA's to all the schools left and right, not sure why you think every program is on our doorstep begging for him to leave to go to their school when who knows the NCAA could lap a show cause on him in a year or something.
In all honestly it really puts us in a great spot with him. Because of what the NCAA is doing, nobody is coming after those coaches right now not knowing what they NCAA will do to them and those programs, especially since Wade was one of the few to be caught on tape himself. Means we can continue with the revised contract he signed last season until we know the NCAA will/wont be giving us a NOA.
Have oyu been following what the NCAA has been doing with all the schools involved with the FBI stuff? TCU, South Carolina, Kansas, Arizona, NC State, Oklahoma State all have received NOAs from the NCAA in regards to stuff from the FBI trials thus far. IT's not done yet, although certainly we hope we get away scott free.

Who was the big man we were after this summer that was considering reclassifying for this season? I think he was from out west but we didn’t get him.

How long did it take Dale to win his first SEC Championship?
Wade is ahead of Dale's pace.

Anselem, he will reclassify by all accounts
Cisse is another one but a newer name that popped up

We still do not have a BIG man on our roster or in Our recruiting class. So no SEC championship contender next year either..
2021 with the kid from Texas and Shareef eligible should be a real contender.
If WW can get a capable BIG in the second signing period.. different story.
Btw there are five Kentucky players in the top 80 players projected in the draft.
Auburn has a very impressive incoming class
