You mean like Hartsfield? And why would you want to carry your bags up a floor to check in?

And ALL big airports need to have a transit system similar to Hartsfield.It eliminates so much time.

Drop off is on the check in level.
There are things to conceivably gripe about over this new airport, I just don't see this layout deal as one. I find it really well conceptualized and that it does a good job of dispersing areas of congestion, but still keeping them in close proximity.

The only people doing that are those who park in long term parking. Everyone else enters the terminal on the third floor.
